Werk 2 is home to a large number of associations and artists and is regarded as Leipzig’s socio-cultural centre. Sounds a bit abstract? Well, Kulturfabrik Leipzig e.V. has set itself the task of reaching everyone and being a centre for social and creative life for young and old from all backgrounds. In the former materials testing machine factory, you can let off steam creatively or just immerse yourself in a pinch of culture, just as you please. Whether it’s jumping over your own shadow in a theatre workshop, getting an introduction to pottery in the ceramics workshop, marvelling at glass as it takes on different colours and shapes or trying your hand at printing techniques – creative variety is guaranteed!
